Meet Carolyn Crimi! Carolyn is from Long Island, New York. She currently lives in Evanston, Illinois where she writes and publishes her books. She enjoys Halloween, snacking, Zumba, and pugs, although not necessarily in that order. She has published fourteen picture books, including Don't Need Friends (Random House, 1999), Boris and Bella (Harcourt, 2004), Henry and the Buccaneer Bunnies (Candlewick, 2005), Where’s My Mummy? (Candlewick, 2008), Henry and the Crazed Chicken Pirates (Candlewick, 2009), Principal Fred Won’t Go To Bed! (Marshall Cavendish, 2010), Dear Tabby (Harpercollins, 2011), and There Might Be Lobsters (Candlewick, 2017). Carolyn was quite pleased to be awarded the Prairie State Award in 2012 for her body of work.
